MSc in Civil and Environmental Engineering (CLM)

The inter-class MSc Programme (LM) in Civil and Environmental Engineering, includes courses compatible with classes LM-23 (Civil Engineering) and LM-35 (Environmental Engineering).

Students can choose their final degree in either of the two classes. The courses in common between LM-23 and LM-35 are shared in order to promote a strong and fruitful interaction between the two classes and to provide the students with a modern approach of constructing in terms of environmental sustainability and protection of the territory.
The degree obtained at the end of both the classes allows the students to be admitted, after a specific examination, into the national Professional Board of Engineers, Civil and Environmental Sector, Section A.

Professional engineers are allowed to use advanced, innovative, and experimental methodologies for design, construction management, evaluation and testing of complex structures.
For both classes, during the second year students have to choose one of the following curricula: Buildings & Infrastructures, Environment and Protection of the Territory.

Admission to the MSc program in Civil and Environmental Engineering depends on the possession of specific curricular requirements that must be acquired before enrolment. The BSc degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, L-7 program, offered by the Polytechnic School of the University of Genoa, provides the necessary curricular requirements.
